Grill cover is high-quality and tailored fitted to the Chargriller Duo model 5500. COver entire grill down to the base, offering very good protection against rain, dust, etc.. Very pleased with the cover, the Char-griller Duo, and the comapny Char-griller.

I broke one of the thermometers in the assembly of the grill and they shipped 2 new ones to me free of charge – no questions asked. Char-griller has been a class act company that cares for it’s customers does the moral, right thing.

cover arrived ahead of schedule and was in perfect condition. fits great and looks good. it does cover the attached smoker box as well.

Shipped quickly–got it on my doorstep before Amazon even showed that it shipped!

As for the cover itself–I love it! It fits like a dream, even with the side smoker box. And there’s nothing quite as nice looking on your patio as a huge grill covered by a custom fit cover. I even like the embroidered Char-Griller logo. The end with the SSB has velcro sewn adjacent to the seams which would allow you to neatly collapse that end in if you don’t have a SSB.

The only complaint I have is the lack of any type of restraining device or fittings. No elastic on the bottom edge, no draw string, no grommets for rope or bungees. However, this didn’t affect my rating as it doesn’t seem to need them–it fits the grill so perfectly with just enough snugness, that I don’t think it will ever blow off. And we’ve already had some pretty strong winds. Cover didn’t budge. Besides, from an aesthetics standpoint, I think the lack of elastic or drawstrings makes it look a bit nicer.

All-in-all, I highly recommend this product if you own a CG Duo.

This is amazing. fit perfect. i dont see a need to have to really secure it to the grill because it fits so perfect over the grill. it some time is actually kinda hard to just get off to use. i have the smoker attachment also and it lookes just great. this is a highly recommended item that goes to a really awsome grill.

This is a great grill. We needed a new one and my husband saw this one and said this is the one. We have also purchased the accerries for the smoking part and he has done some of that and it was great. We love it.

This is not your average thin cheap grill cover. I was very suprised when it arrived that it was made from heavy duty materials capable of standing up to rain and all types of weather. I would reccomend this product to anyone who has purchased the duo gas grill, you will not be disappointed!

The CharBroil 8080 BBQ cover absolutely rocks! It is made of durable cotton material. The stitching is solid. The cover fits my BBQ like a charm. It is very easy to put on and take off. I live in an area with alot of climate changes, and I don’t worry about rust or moisture. This is a great BBQ cover. I recommend it, if you have a CharBroil 505 DUO Gas and Charcoal Grill.

Char-Griller 8080 Vinyl Grill Cover for the Duo Gas-and-Charcoal Grill

This is by far one of the best grill covers that I have ever seen. It may say vinyl, but it is so heavy duty it is almost “canvas-like”. It covers the entire grill from top to the ground so in extremely windy situations it stays put. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has this grill, and if you don’t have this grill you need to get one. It is the best of both worlds. Gas and charcoal, with an optional smoker-box attachment. What more can I say!!!

Hard to go wrong when its custom made for the grill. Is nice that it can be used with or without the side firebox.
